We got a trial pack of P28 High Protein Bagels in our August JackedPack shipment. I first heard about JackedPack when they sent me a a sample box to try a couple months back. Then Roger wanted to sign up as paying customers so we did. It’s so fun trying all the different things they send each month!
Here’s the August Pack:
*Side note: Roger did NOT like the Monster Milk!
Here was my little reminder to make sure I had the bagel for breakfast. We kept it in the JP box to keep the cat away from it and then I kept forgetting to eat it because it wasn’t in front of my face.
What can I say, I’m hopeless. I forget everything.
Here’s a peek before I took it out of the packaging:
I topped half the bagel with peanut butter (yeah, peanut butter is my drug) and had some grapes to offset “peanut butter mouth”.
It was delicious!
How can a bagel that has more grams of protein than carbs taste sooooo good? I loved it.
You can get these online or in some stores – but they aren’t currently available nationwide. They aren’t even sold in Minnesota. Boo. I hope they will be someday. They are worth it to order online though (at HighProteinBread.com). They’re low in sugar, have a good amount of fiber and are high in protein too. I can use all the fiber I can get my hands on!

My workout for the day was completed hours ago and it was okay. Before I started I was cleaning up a puddle of water from underneath the kitchen table (from the cat knocking over my water bottle) and totally WHACKED the back of my head as I sat up. I couldn’t believe how hard I hit it. My kids were like, “What was THAT?” Oh just my head bouncing off the table.
Today was a rest day for Body Beast so to stay on schedule with that program, I decided to do a TurboFire workout. I was doing pretty well until about halfway through and my head started pounding from all the bouncing. I fought through it and made it to the end but did have to stop a few times to save myself from the throbbing.
TurboFire 45 EZ (new to class version)
Overall I thought this workout was really fun. I had a tougher time with it than I did with Fire 30 but there was really only 1 sequence throughout the entire thing that I didn’t really “get”. I’ll get there though.
BodyMedia Fit Stats:
Calories Burned: 356
Steps Taken: 4,220 (and this was before 10:00 am!)
Tomorrow is Workout Wednesday so I’ll be recording my workout in hopes of motivating at least one person to work it!
And yeah, my head still hurts.
