As a complete fan of home workouts, it’s always exciting when Beachbody announces new product launches. Beachbody held their annual conference (known as Summit) last week in Vegas where a whole slew of information was announced and I’m excited about pretty much all of it – some more than others, you’ll see.
Chocolate Vegan Shakeology®
The first vegan Shakeology flavor became available earlier this year, which was Tropical Strawberry. To encourage variety in our lives a new vegan flavor was released this past Tuesday and that is the vegan Chocolate! I have yet to try this flavor yet but will post a review as soon as I do. I love the original chocolate formula mixed with milk and peanut butter. It tastes like a peanut butter cup. I was hesitant to try the vegan Tropical Strawberry thinking it’d taste icky but was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was (perfect for those who love strawberry/banana smoothies, like me) . From what I’ve read, seen and heard, the vegan chocolate has more of a dark chocolate flavor than the original chocolate.
*As always, Beachbody has a bottom of the bag guarantee on their Shakeology. You can consume the entire thing and if you aren’t happy with it, mail the packaging back for a full refund. Hesitant to try because you’re not sure you’ll like it? Contact me to purchase a sample packet of any flavor(s) you choose – I’ll pay for shipping.
Body Beast is the newest workout distributed through Beachbody and it’s available now. It’s also on it’s way to my house. Ahhhhh! I’m so excited for this one! While it seems to be geared towards men to turn them into big muscle-y “Hulk-like” machines, a girl can use some heavy lifting to build muscle too. I think this will be like Chalean Extreme on steroids? It reminds me of how I trained when I first started my journey so you know I’m all over it! Any time Beachbody comes out with a lifting workout, it will bring itself to my doorstep and into my arsenal of home workouts.
When I first heard that Derm Exclusive was available I honestly kind of thought to myself… really? But then I checked out the video and now it’s got me thinking… I might have to try this.
This incredibly powerful system of treatments works to fight the four signs of aging—fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, dark spots, and diminishing radiance. In other words, your face will love it.
I’m not a big user of beauty products outside of products I use in the shower to get clean. I don’t typically buy creams, lotions, etc – I don’t like how they feel on my skin. I’d rather buy lifting gloves or crayons to be honest. But, I might have to look into this – at least to give it a try. If I do, I’ll definitely review it. For that, I would require myself to take before and after close-up pics of my FACE. Ugh. I’m going to buy lifting gloves and crayons instead. Haha!
Les Mills Body Combat
This announcement has me trying to jump right out of my ankles. Les Mills Pump was the very first Beachbody program that I actually completed. I LOVE Les Mills Pump! Taking a BodyPump class is definitely on my to-do list so I can get the full effect of a class, but I love working out at home and cannot wait for the full Les Mills Body Combat program! It looks like Les Mills Combat will be available for pre-order through Beachbody Coaches only prior to being released to the general public. Pre-orders will start in the fall with the release date expected to be around December 2012. Wanna be notified? Contact your coach or let me know!
Insanity: The Asylum®, Vol. 2
As if Insanity: The Asylum, Vol. 1 wasn’t enough… trainer Shaun T. has taken things up a notch and Volume 2 is coming your way! More details to come but I expect it’ll be released late 2012 as well.
Daaaaaaaang. I think that’s all for now.
Time to get ready to visit my little sister. Have a great day!
