Time for a Morning Meltdown 100 update! I am officially halfway finished with this program and my thoughts haven’t changed from the brief overview of MM100 that I posted on the day I started. I still love it!
Morning Meltdown is a workout program consisting of 100 workouts. There are two different calendars you can follow or you can do it at whatever pace you want to. My schedule has turned into the latter. You can learn more about this program in my MM100 overview.
Morning Meltdown 100 Schedule
When I first started, my plan was to double up on the workouts and do the 60-day calendar. That has changed. I’m still doubling up on the days that I can, but on the days I have work deadlines (I’m a legal transcriptionist) I usually stick to one. I also tend to take the weekends completely off, but stick to mostly-healthy eating.
I just finished workouts 49 and 50, which is supposed to be Day 30. I started MM100 on 10/1 and it’s now 11/13, so you can see that doesn’t quite add up. BUT I’ve completed 50 workouts in the last 44 days which is probably close to my total for the YEAR prior to starting. I’ll take it.
Positive Changes Overall
I am noticing some major changes and at this point, most of them aren’t even visible. I haven’t made it through 50 days of any workout program (structured or not) since I quit 80 Day Obsession on Day 50.
What I’ve noticed so far:
- Confidence is growing
- Body is shrinking — weight has literally not budged. (more details in my final transformation post)
- Sleep is better
- Mood is better
- Mindset is better
- Endurance is better
- Physical strength has increased
- I still hate cardio. (but the cardio in this program isn’t bad at all)
Morning Meltdown Loves
I literally can’t think of anything I don’t like about this program. This could definitely change!
But for now, I really like:
- Jericho (the trainer)
- The variety! (there are 10 different workouts that rotate throughout the program. each new phase brings new challenges while sticking with the same simple moves)
- The Music (on cardio days it’s fun to challenge myself to stay on beat — hardly can. haha.)
- Workouts are all 30 minutes or less.
- It really is for everyone (modifications all around on all the things)
Favorite MM100 Workouts
I have two workouts in this program that are my absolute favorite: downbeat strength (legs) and melt-con. I love these two because they involve weights, but they also feel like cardio because you’re always moving so your heart rate stays elevated throughout.
Here’s to the next 50!

Update 1/6/20: I finished workout 81 today so you can see I fell off a bit in December. I had a nasty cold for a good two weeks — no energy — and then our little blended family had 4 Christmases the week of Christmas. It’s been crazy! But workouts are back on track. My next update will be my final one where I share my complete transformation from prior to starting to my thoughts after completing all 100 workouts. Almost there!
