Good morning and happy Friday to you! The weekend is upon us once again. We don’t have too much planned this weekend but I know we’ll be busy around the house with cleaning and small projects that we’ve been putting off. B has a birthday party to go to on Saturday afternoon and Roger’s finally taking a Saturday off so that’ll be weird… and fun! He’s a workaholic. I’m sure we’ll spend a lot of time watching Sons of Anarchy. I’m so addicted to that show.
Well since it’s Friday, it’s time for another edition of Friday Favorites! These are just a handful of things I’ve been loving this week. If there’s something you’ve been loving this week, please feel free to let me know in the comments section below. :)
RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner
A couple weeks before Christmas my mom, her boyfriend, my sister Nikki and I took a road trip down to Arkansas to see family for the holidays and I noticed that Nikki’s eyelashes seemed super long. Like longer than usual. I asked her about it and she told me she had been using RevitaLash for a few months. I was sold. Roger was here at home with the kids so I texted him right away to let him know about it (haha!) and he ended up getting it for me for Christmas. I’ve been using it for just around 2 full months now and I can already see a difference. It does seem to be something that you need keep using in order to keep the growth happening but it does seem to work very well.
Look at that tiny brush!
I did notice that my eyelids would become a little puffy and itchy with the first few uses but it wasn’t too bad and it seemed to go away after about 20 minutes or so. RevitaLash is pretty expensive but Roger got me the smallest size and I only use a teeny tiny bit each time. I also only use it on my upper lashes so it’s going to last a long time. I’ve read reviews where people say it’s lasted 6+ months so I’m thrilled about that!
Cheesy Eggless Breakfast Bake
This eggless breakfast bake that Roger made for me has been such a comfort food for me this week! It’s been perfect in the mornings with all the sub-zero temps we had for most of this week. Today it’s supposed to hit 35. Whoa.
Small Victoria’s Secret Early Birthday Haul
It seems I’m a sucker for Victoria’s Secret’s Pink line. It can be hit or miss sometimes but when I find some cute things and a good deal can be had I feel like I hit the jackpot. The nice thing about the Pink line too is that it has an amazing resale value. Every time I sell my VS hoodies, tees or sweats on eBay I almost always get back every penny I spent on them to begin with. That’s awesome for putting towards new stuff!
I picked up these 4 items this week because all the stars aligned, I’m in love with that Blaze Blue color and I got an amazing deal. I had a birthday coupon to use, free shipping with swim purchase (the blue tank counted as a swim purchase!), free sports bra (with Pink purchase through the Pink Nation app – now available in stores only through March 9th), $10 off fleece purchase AND Secret Reward cards. I placed two separate orders to take advantage of all the deals (and because the free bra offer started the day after I placed my first order…of course) and I’m so excited to have some new workout wear! So only because my birthday is this month, I splurged and spent about $75 and will get back at least $20 in Secret Reward cards. I’ll chalk that up as a win.
Seriously though… their Gym Pants are sooooo comfortable. And flattering too!
Now I must step away from VictoriasSecret.com for a good while once again.
