Is it just me or does Christmas fly in out of nowhere every year? Today I’m sharing my list of practical gift ideas for fitness lovers. I’ve been thinking of my “wish list” items related to fitness that I’d personally love to have (or do have!) and thought I’d share those items here. I’ve included a variety of price points to fit any budget.
Christmas Fit List:
Fit Happy Planner.
I just purchased this planner myself and I can’t wait to get started! There is a weekly layout with plenty of space to record workouts, meals, calories burned, steps taken, etc.
Here are the monthly and weekly layouts:
Here are photos of the dividers for each month:
As I get started with mine I plan to share more photos to show I’ll be using it. :)
This planner retails for $29.99 but I used a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby and snagged it for around $18. This is one of very few items you’ll probably save more on by purchasing in-store.
Fitbit Charge 2.
The Fitbit Charge HR 2 is definitely on my wish list! I think fitness trackers can be highly motivational and really help people stay on track with their fitness goals. This handy gadget tracks heart rate, distance, steps, sleep, calories burned, floors climbed and more.
iTunes Gift Cards.
I don’t think there’s a fitness lover out there who wouldn’t appreciate an iTunes gift card! Making a new workout playlist is always exciting! Sometimes you can get them for under face value at Amazon. Also watch stores like Target for deals. They will often run some type of BOGO 20% off deal – especially around the holidays.
You can check out some of the playlists I’ve shared on the blog here.
The Yoga Bible by Christina Brown.
The Yoga Bible features full color photos of more than 150 yoga poses. This book is especially great for those who are new to yoga or maybe just curious. I hated the idea of yoga for a long time but as I’ve gotten older (bones cracking, slower to get up, not flexible…haha) I really appreciate the physical and mental benefits. This book looks like a really great resource for learning yoga postures.
Wireless Earbuds.
Wireless earbuds have changed my world for the better. I received my very first pair of wireless earbuds in my BuffBoxx and I’ve been in love ever since. It’s so nice to be able to use my iPod Shuffle during workouts without a long wire getting in the way. You can spend anywhere from about $10 to upwards of $200 on a pair but there are plenty of affordable styles with great reviews.
Thug Kitchen 101: Fast as F***.
If swearing isn’t an issue (lots of F bombs and the like inside these pages) and your fitness lover has a passion for eating healthy, this cookbook is a must have! I received the original Thug Kitchen from my sister for Christmas and there are so many great recipes inside. I love the idea of Thug Kitchen 101 because it’s full of recipes that can be made quickly! The quicker the better, I say. Ha! The reviews are looking really great too.
Blender.
Blenders are a must have for gym-goers (or workout at home-ers) because they mix up protein shakes and smoothies so nicely! I can’t stand using shaker cups. They’re awesome for when you’re in a pinch but I prefer to use the power and skills of a blender.
We currently have the Nutribullet and the Ninja Mega Kitchen System and I highly recommend both!
The Ninja replaces our regular blender and then we also use it for making soups and sauces, in addition to shakes and smoothies. We love it!
I think any of these gifts would be super practical and well received by any fitness fanatic in your life!
If it feels like the fit one in your life already has everything under the sun and you still aren’t sure what to get? iTunes gift cards are always a great idea. Or Bombas! I think everyone loves the feeling of brand new socks and Bombas are really great. I love that for every pair of socks purchased, one pair is also donated.
Finally, gift cards to places like Amazon or a sporting goods store are great options too so they can pick out something they want. :)
Happy shopping!
