It’s been a little while since I’ve done a hybrid workout so I spent some time creating a new one! I’ve been wanting to really focus on strength training again for a bit with a little cardio mixed in so I came up with a personalized Body Beast and Insanity hybrid workout! A hybrid is simply combining two or more workouts and I like them because it helps to keep things interesting and make use of programs I already have.
Since Body Beast is broken up into 3 “blocks” and Insanity is broken down into 2 “months”, I blended the workouts together using the first four weeks of each program for a nice balance and then ending the schedule with the last Fit Test and a cardio day. If I end up loving the hybrid, I’ll definitely add another 30-day schedule that continues the BULK block of Body Beast and the 2nd month of Insanity.
The first 3 weeks contain 4 days of strength training and 2-3 days of cardio while the 4th week contains 5 days of strength training and 2 days of cardio. Each week also has one rest day. I prefer to “rest” on Sundays but you’re more than welcome to obviously take your rest day whenever you want! This is just the hybrid I’m doing, you can manipulate it any way you want.

I had planned to start this hybrid last week but situations out of my control made it a very difficult week so I’m planning to start fresh with this hybrid on Monday.
