Happy Friday! Today is Earth Day and to celebrate I’m having an Earth Day Giveaway that starts TODAY! I am a Biggest Loser fan and I really admire the show’s trainers, Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. It takes a really special person to be able to make a difference and help people lose weight and get in shape.

In honor of their last season together on the show (Jillian’s leaving) AND this being my 350th post on this blog, I have created a special Bob & Jillian Prize Pack that I’m giving away to one of my readers! This is not a sponsored giveaway – this is MY giveaway, for YOU. (All items are brand new, never opened/used.)

Bob Harper’s ‘Ultimate Cardio Body’, Extreme Weight Loss Workout DVD (2011)

Released March 15, 2011, “Ultimate Cardio Body” by Bob Harper is already getting rave reviews. This workout DVD features 2 workouts. The first is Extreme Cardio Challenge which is a one-hour long high intensity workout that combines cardio with strength training moves to increase your heart rate, burn fat and make you stronger. You’ll get a complete full body workout including lower body, your upper body and even your glutes. The second workout is called the “10-Minute Glute Challenge” that is designed to “micro-target your glutes”. Total run time: 78 minutes.

Jillian Michaels’ ‘Ripped in 30′ DVD (2011)

Jillian Michaels has a plethora of effective workout DVDs with her most popular likely being ‘30 Day Shred‘. If you aren’t familiar with her work she uses a 3-2-1 interval system: 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abs. In Ripped in 30, Jillian uses this same technique in each of the four – 24-minute workouts that makes up her latest workout DVD. She demonstrates modified moves in each workout for beginners and more advanced athletes. Ripped in 30 also includes a complete 30-day diet plan! Total run time: 136 minutes.

Jillian Michaels’ ‘Unlimited: How to Build an Exceptional Life’ Book (2011)

I really felt that a Bob & Jillian Prize Pack could not possibly be complete without Jillian’s latest book Unlimited. The reason? Because I feel that while you can be in great shape physically, you can’t really be your best unless you’re in good shape all around – and that includes emotionally as well. Unlimited encourages readers to “lose the chains” and take charge of life. The book is broken up beautifully making it a very easy and entertaining read. Chapters include “Identify Your Passion”, “Time for Your Wake-Up Call” and “Get an Attitude Adjustment” just to name a few.

What I like best is that she talks about how other “self-help” books are useless because they simply tell us to love ourselves, be optimistic and just let things come to us. I don’t know about you, but that has never gotten me very far. You need to be proactive about life and go out and get what it is that you want.

  8. I like everything about Bob Harper. In my opinion he is the best fitness trainer out there. His Inside Out Method DVD series is fantastic. I like a trainer who is tough but also will make me laugh during the workout. His technique is great, he is funny and he really knows how to get your heart pumping and make you sweat. For those that don’t believe he is that tough, try the Inside Out Method Cardio Rev DVD, you will see what I mean. ;)

  22. I love Jillian because she tells it like it is. Even if that makes her scary in the middle of a workout, it’s the kind of thing I need to push through to the end of a workout! And Bob is the same way, but he’s somehow so positive and upbeat about it that I don’t realize I’m getting my behind handed to me until I’m on the floor in a puddle of sweat. LOL.

    I lost 70 pounds, but hit a plateau. Since December, I’ve been up and down in the same 5 pound range. I need to blast through this plateau and lose the last 30 pounds. Maybe a bit of Bob & Jillian is just what I need!

    I alternate between the gym for cardio and home DVD workouts, and Jillian is my go-to trainer for my at home days. Have moved on from 30 day shred to the Ab video and am contemplating doing her yoga meltdown tomorrow. I love how comprehensive and fast-paced her workouts are.

  46. I love both Bob and Jillian because they care so much about helping people lose weight and become healthy.

  47. I owe so much to both Bob and Jillian. I started out with the 30 Day Shred last summer, and then moved on to Bob’s Inside Out Method, and both were amazing. I lost 20 lbs by eating healthy and doing the videos in just a few months. I then got pregnant, and I’m due in July – I can’t wait to get back to Bob and Jillian after the baby is born. I was so excited to see your giveaway as it’s JUST what I asked hubby for last week (we do the videos together). Thank you for the lovely giveaway.
