Make It Count & Results Will Quickly Follow

Are you interested in learning how to get results as quickly as possible? I can offer you one idea – just going through the motions won’t help. If you aren’t enjoying your workout it’s time to change things up. Or… if you just think working out is the devil, you could just have that pre-programmed into your brain. That doesn’t help either. Or could it be that you haven’t found the right workout for you yet? You won’t get much out of ANY workout if you just go through the motions.

Have you ever heard the phrase “Pressure makes diamonds”? It’s one of my favorites. If you want to see a real change in your body and if you want REAL results, then you need to CHALLENGE your body. You won’t get there by going through the motions.

If you’re struggling with a workout, either because it’s not interesting to you, or because it may be too advanced or too intense, don’t be afraid to back off and choose something else. The most important thing you can do when it comes to workouts is to choose something that you ENJOY! Not sure what you enjoy?? Try different things to figure it out! Sure, your preferences and interests will change from time to time and that’s OKAY. FIND something that INTERESTS you RIGHT NOW and you’ll be good to go!

    Really agree with finding an activity you enjoy and giving it your all. In my case, this year I discovered INSANITY and road biking. The feeling of “dread” never even crosses my mind when I suit up for a spin on my bike or an intense INSANITY workout in my gym!!

    I cannot agree more, recently I’ve started another 3-week fitness challenge, and came to realize that it wasn’t something I really enjoyed… it seemed like I was never looking forward to my workouts. I decided to switch it up a bit and add workouts I loved….Now I can’t wait to start training :)
