How to Start a Beachbody Program When You Don’t Know What to Eat

Starting a new workout program can feel really exciting! But if you’re not sure what you should be eating that excitement can turn into frustration or anxiety.

Nutrition is such an important piece of the wellness puzzle and good nutrition will definitely help you get results faster with whatever workouts you’re doing.

If you’re getting ready to start a Beachbody workout program for the first time, keep reading!

 

How to Start a Beachbody Program When You Don’t Know What to Eat

 

The cool thing about Beachbody workout programs is that they always come with a meal guide or meal plan to help you for the duration of the program! And they’re something you can continue to follow long after you finish the workouts.

If you purchase a physical copy of a workout program you will receive a physical copy of its coordinating meal plan.

If you’re a Beachbody On Demand kinda gal then you’ll find the eating plan in your account. Simply click on the program you’re starting to find all necessary materials that go with it.

Here’s just an example if you’re following the 21 Day Fix Extreme Workout Program – one of my faves!

I actually just started 21 DFX again on New Year’s Day and I thiiink it’s my 3rd or 4th time. The redness in my face is real. Day 1 is Plyo so looooots of jumping around.

Anyway…

When you click on the 21 DFX program you’ll come to a page like this and then you’ll want to click on “Program Materials”:

Once you scroll down just a bit, you’ll find the Nutrition section which includes any eating plans associated with that specific program. All Beachbody programs have their own eating plans. All of Autumn’s programs utilize the portion control containers.

From here, you can download the 87 page 21 Day Fix Extreme printable PDF guide which includes food tally sheets and meal ideas to fuel your body in a healthy way. Just click the PDF link and it’ll open each file in a new tab for you to view and/or print.

There are a LOT of large photos and bright colors in the 21 DFX guide so I would suggest just to actually print the tally sheets if you want them and whatever else you’d like a hard copy of. If you print the entire guide it’ll use a ton of ink. Just something to keep in mind!

Starting a Beachbody program and eating healthy doesn’t have to be difficult because each program has its own eating plan. It’ll either be a physical copy if you purchased the CD’s or you can print it off or reference it online at your convenience if you’re on Beachbody On Demand.

The only thing left to do… is to just follow the program’s eating plan!
