Digital Weight Scale Review: EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale (With Photos)

I just received my brand new EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale! After looking it over and trying it out, I am very pleased with it and am excited to be hosting a giveaway later this week. One lucky reader will win their very own digital weight scale too (just like this one!). Don’t worry, I’m keeping mine for myself – the winner will receive a brand new bathroom scale. More on that later…

So upon opening up the FedEx package, this is what I found:

And then of course I had to dig right in and find out exactly what was inside, so here’s a deeper look:

The EatSmart Digital Weight Scale includes:

  • The EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale
  • An Instruction Manual
  • 4 AAA Batteries
  • 2 Year EatSmart Guarantee

One of the things I like about this scale is how easy the battery compartment opens – no screwdriver needed. Hooray! Just one of the simpler things in life that I appreciate.

See?

And here’s the scale all lit up and ready to weigh:

I really, really love the blue backlight. It makes it really easy to read, even in the dark. (Try doing that with an analog scale!) Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the scale. It’s made of glass so it’s durable, modern-looking and yet relatively lightweight. Being that it’s colors are neutral, it can easily go in any room without standing out or ruining the overall look and decor of the room.

I have both an analog scale (the ones with the dial – similar to a clock) and two digital scales. This scale right here will be replacing the digital scale that is currently in our master bathroom. And now I will replace the analog scale in our children’s bathroom with our other digital scale.

Pros

  • Easily readable
  • Oversized display
  • Contains 3 settings: pounds, kilograms and stones
  • Easy to clean
  • Affordably priced
  • Super simple to use

Cons

  • I personally don’t like the big, red sticker on the glass that tells you to “tap here”. It’s not easy to take off and I think it looks somewhat tacky if you just leave it on.
